Drilling options

Mounted in between the clamping plates is the 5 option drill guide section. Supplied with this dowel Jig are two of each, 1/4″, 3/8″, and 5/16″ hardened steel bushings and when installed in the Jig makes it possible to drill two holes without having to re-position the Jig.

Self Centering

Just choose the wood size from 7/16″ to 2″, clamp on the Jig, no measuring to find the center of the wood as the Jig does this automatically for you. All you have to do then is choose the hole size you want to drill from the jig options.

Maintenance

Maintaining a dowel jig kit is a very simple matter. It will give many years of trouble-free use with some basic care.

Just wipe off the dust or debris on the threads of the vise screw and the drill guide groove, and then apply a thin layer of light engine oil on it.

How to solve the problem of not centering ？

1- If the left and right distances of individual products are asymmetric and there is deviation during use, it can be adjusted to the best position.

2- Unscrew the two left screws with the hexagon socket.

3- Adjust the large screw on the middle rod to make the left and right distance of the product consistent.

4-After the left and right distances are the same, tighten the left two socket head cap screws.

5- Rotate the small rotating rod, and check whether the left and right distances are uniform in the experiment. If they are consistent, they can be used after debugging. If there is any slight deviation, adjust them slightly according to the above steps

6-After debugging, the left and right distances are the same.
